I visited The Armagh County Museum a while back and decided to do a little write-up on it. It has an exceptional and unique art collection includes works by many well-known Irish artists. A range of temporary exhibitions is held throughout the year. An extensive reference library, rich in archive material, along with photographic and map collections is open to visitors by appointment. One of the oldest Museums in Ireland with ongoing Natural History exhibitions. Great buildings and a must see for anyone interested in Northern Ireland.There is also an amazing Art Collection.

The Ulster American Folk Park
This is a great day out for anyone - a journey back into what Ireland was really like. Based in County Tyrone, the Museum tells the story of emigration from Ulster to America in the 18th & 19th centuries. There is the usual fittings and furniture from the past as well as a whole host of Artifacts from the 19th century. (A cafe attached with nice hot scones)
