Surfing Beaches in Ireland - Clare

Filed under: Clare - Vacations, Sligo - Vacations, Watersports - Ireland — admin @ 7:21 pm

Here is a pretty cool video of a Guy surfing near the cliffs of Moher ( or near Miami, aren’t they all the one). Surfing has really taken off in Ireland and though this video is a piss-take, there are many nice surfing beaches to be found. BE WARNED - even in summer, the water is very, very cold.

Famous Caves of Ireland -Aillwee Co. Clare

There were the Caves featured in the Father Ted Episode that is probably the most funniest comedy that ever came out of Ireland. Opened to the public in the 1970’s, these are one of the best examples of Caves in Ireland. Open Daily from about 9am, entry fee is a nice big C.16 Euro, which is enough to put many people off. There is also a bird of prey tour, and of course, one gets to see The Burren in County Clare. To get there one drives to the village of Ballyvaughan in County Clare and it is well signposted from there.
