Directions to Shannon Airport and Region

Located in Co. Clare, Shannon Airport is an hour and a half’s drive south of Galway City. Shannon Shannon Airport is an excellent choice if one wants to see Galway, Kerry, Limerick or Clare(some would say a must-see region). The Airport itself offers a wide range of direct flights from Dublin, the UK, continental Europe and North America. If you are driving, take the N18 north from Shannon to Galway City through Ennis, Gort, Kilcolgan and Oranmore. From Limerick, just follow the signs for Galway and it is well signposted.
