Cinemas and Movie Theaters in Belfast - Northern Ireland

Filed under: Antrim - Vacations, Music and Theater of Ireland — admin @ 8:16 pm

I know the Cinema can be something only done at home, or on a boring Tuesday, but some of the best times one ever has is sitting in front of the large screen, eating Popcorn and munching on toffee. With movies like Benjamin Button and Burn After Reading some of the best films this year - there is surely many more to come. Most of the cinemas in Belfast are pretty big and well-equipped, but a little on the expensive side. There is also a matinee tradition on a Sunday(just for the Kids). Here are two of the bigger cinemas in Belfast and one Independant. Check out the websites before you go and enjoy.

The greatest Irish song (and artists) ever?

His song, Tattoo’d Lady, is not often heard these days, but in my view it needs to be. One of the best signs of a magnificent piece of music is this - It sounds better live than it does in a studio. This is the case with most of Rory Gallagher’s songs, but especially Tattoo’d Lady. Rory Gallagher, 2nd March, 1948– died 14th June, 1995 and left behind a legacy of perfection when it came to his Art. They simply don’t make them like this anymore -
